Javier Estrellas's kart attracted a lot of attention at this years Belgian Open in Ostend. Of all the mods, his downhaul
and sheet arrangement impressed all.
With the control end running up the steering bar to be cleated at the 'T' of the handlebar this is not only efficient
but an ergonomic winner. With the added option of a cleat on the underside of the 'T' to hold the sheet at
odd moments, it is the most 'to hand' we've seen.
It has been copied by admirers and the pictures here are of the kart of Chris Moore.
There is the question of the dampening effect on the steering and one wonders how much load the bar should bear? Chris
has had no problems.
